Hi, I'm Lacey. I'd love to be your personal trainer! I'm an NASM certified Personal Trainer, a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist, a certified Women's Fitness Specialist, a certified Prenatal & Postnatal Fitness Specialist, a certified Online Personal Trainer, and a certified Nutrition Coach. I also hold certifications in Group Fitness and TRX, I coach at Basecamp San Mateo and am the Redwood City Fitness Court Ambassador.

As a severe postpartum depression survivor, anxiety sufferer and mama of two, helping clients reach their goals and build confidence, is my passion. When I have free time, I love to spend it with my kiddos or running, reading, learning and racing in obstacle course races. I'm a fan of pinot noir and zombie movies.

My goal is to meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to be, whether that be stronger, faster, more confident, or just healthier in general. No matter your age, your gender, or your fitness level, I've got you!

Frequently Asked Questions

"Do I need to be a member of a gym?"

No. We will not be working out in a gym. I can come to you or we can meet in another agreed upon location.

 

“How do payments work?”

You will be able to pay for individual or multiple sessions via Paypal. Payments must be made up front.


“What if I've never worked out before?”

That's not a problem. I'll be with you every step of the way. I will be there to make sure you're using correct form, etc. I will meet you where you're at in your fitness journey. We will start simple and progress from there.


“Do I need to purchase any equipment?”

No. I will provide all equipment that we will use. If you have equipment at home, we can use that as well.


“Where will we meet?”

I am based out of Redwood Shores, California. If you're within my service area, then I can come to you, whether to your home or a local park. I also have a small home gym, if you're prefer to come to me. I will travel anywhere from Burlingame to Palo Alto.


“Does my training include meal plans?”

No. I can provide basic nutritional guidance, but I do not provide meal plans of any kind. Only a Registered Dietician can legally prescribe specific meals. I can, however, provide general guidelines, examples or healthy meals and a nutrition program designed specifically to meet your goal(s).  You should also know that I am not a fan of dieting or major calorie restriction.

"What days can we meet?"

I also teach in-person and virtual boot camp, so at the moment, the best time for me is on Wednesdays. I can also do some evenings or weekends as well. I have a schedule with open times so you'll be able to schedule the days and times that work best for you.


“How do we train?”

We'll spend our first session establishing your baseline fitness. We'll do a few assessments and will go over how everything will work. If we're only meeting once a week, you'll likely be given things you can do  on your own time that will help us stay on task and working towards your goal. I'd like to hear how you're doing on a regular basis, either when we meet or via video check-ins. It's important to stay in contact outside of our actual sessions so that I can support you throughout your journey. Our regular sessions will include a warm-up, and then a mix of cardio and resistance training. We'll use a variety of equipment so as to always keep things fresh and to keep you progressing. Workouts will end with a cool down and time for you to ask any questions you may have.

 

“How do I check in with you?”

We can talk about adjustments, progress, etc. before or after your sessions. You may also set a video check-in with me should you need support during times we are not in person.

“Do you give refunds?”

No. I am committed to you and your success. 100% Customized programs take a lot of time, knowledge and energy to create.  If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your personal training,  you may cancel, or we can talk about how to better meet your needs. However, payments already made cannot be refunded.
