Mama Beast Boot Camp Policies
Weather Policy
Beyond The Push Fitness classes are outdoors with the exception of virtual boot camp. Although we have very nice weather in the bay area, be sure to dress yourself and baby in layers for all Beyond The Push Fitness classes. In the event of rain, we may opt to do a virtual class instead of outdoors. Any changes will also be posted on our Beyond The Push Fitness Facebook page and you’ll receive a notification if you have registered for the affected class. Please be sure to pre-register for any class you plan to attend.
Illness Policy
In the event that you or your child(ren) are ill, please do NOT come to class. We want to avoid spreading cold and flu around to other children and their families. If you think your child may be coming down with something, please stay home and let them rest. If your child has had a fever within the last 24 hours, please leave them home and let them rest. Your child MUST be fever free (un-medicated) for at least 24 hours before returning to class.
COVID-19 precautions. Please wear a mask to and from your car and anytime you are not in your “workout station.” Please practice safe social distancing of at least 6 feet.
Stroller Policy
We recommend that you bring your baby in a jogging stroller for all classes. Non-jogging strollers will be fine for class also. We highly discourage the use of fold up umbrella strollers for class. We do NOT require that children be kept in their strollers, though taking them out is at your own risk. If taken out of their stroller, please keep your child(ren) next to you and we encourage you to bring something to keep them entertained (snacks, toys). Of course, their needs can always be attended to at any time.
Postpartum Policy
You must be a minimum of 6 weeks postpartum and receive a verbal clearance to resume physical activities, from your doctor, to attend Beyond The Push Fitness classes. For c-section deliveries, you must be a minimum of 8 weeks postpartum and receive a verbal clearance, to resume physical activities, from your doctor, to attend Beyond The Push Fitness classes. NO exceptions.
Prenatal Policy
All pregnant women attending Beyond The Push Fitness classes, irrespective of class format, must provide written clearance from their physician or midwife from a recent medical appointment stating that they are able to participate in an exercise program. In the event of a high-risk pregnancy, moms may freeze their account up to their due date. A doctor’s note is required.
Injury Leave Policy
Injuries happen. Don’t worry, your membership will not lapse if you need time to take time to rest. Written release from a health care provider is required to return back to class. Let me know you need your account put on hold in the event of illness.

As more and more of our community gets vaccinated, we will begin to bring back and incorporate free weights into our classes. Strength training is an important part of any fitness program and is key in muscle building, weight loss and overall health. If you are uncomfortable potentially sharing weights, we will make accommodations, or you may bring your own weights.
