Now, enter the online personal trainer.  Since you're not meeting in person, online Personal Training Experts can provide the same expert knowledge that’ll get you to your goals without the hefty price tag, and more importantly, without compromising quality. Even better, is that you'll have a program built specifically for YOU; no cookie cutter workouts EVER. Your program will be 100% customized to you, taking into account your lifestyle, past injuries, your specific goals and any difficulties or concerns regarding your training.  It's like having your own personal trainer and cheerleader in your back pocket.

Motivation and Accountability

While online training may involve more self-motivation, your trainer is just a click away. And if your online trainer is a good one, they’ll be messaging you each week to check in on your progress and making sure that you are completing your workouts. There really are no excuses anymore!

Communication

Being online means the lines of communication are always open. 

Bonus: The free client app/portal provided means the ability for you to see stats, track your progress, and communicate with your trainer in real time.

Hi, I'm Lacey. I'm a certified Online Personal Trainer, a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist, a certified (in-person) Personal Trainer, a certified Nutrition Coach and a certified Prenatal & Postnatal Fitness Specialist. I also hold certifications in Group Fitness and TRX.

As a severe postpartum depression survivor, and mama of two, helping women reach their goals and build confidence, is my passion. When I'm not training warrior mamas, I'm spending time with my two energetic little boys, or getting muddy competing in challenging obstacle course races, like Spartan.

My mission is to help moms at every age and stage of motherhood feel confident and strong in their post baby bodies. I don't just cater to mamas though! That's why I founded Beyond The Push Fitness! No matter your gender, your age, your fitness level, where you are in life, I've got you!

Frequently Asked Questions

"Do I need to be a member of a gym?"

No. This program is designed so that you can workout anywhere at any time that fits into your schedule. 

 

“How do payments work?”

You will be able to pay automatically via Paypal. Payments are set up as subscriptions, meaning they will be ongoing on a monthly basis and automatically billed  until you terminate your plan. Payments must be made up front.


“What if I don’t know how to perform an exercise included in the workout?”

I will do my best to keep the workouts simple and easy to follow while still challenging. I will provide video demos and instructions or at least pictures with instructions. Please look over your workout as soon as you receive it and let me know  if there is anything you are unsure of, so that I can explain it to you before you set out to do the workout. Be sure to do this, unless pics or videos are provided along with the workout.


“What is meant by a month in the case of services?”

In this case, a month is counted as 4 weeks to simplify your experience with the programs. Payments are subscription based unless paid in full. If you prefer to pay in full you can let me know and I'll send you a Paypal link for that.


“Do I need to purchase any equipment?”

We will use the equipment that you already have. However, it is a good idea to invest in a resistance band and/or loop band if you do not have any equipment at all. We can get creative in what we use if you’re working out at home or in your garage, but it is a good idea to have a set of dumbbells that we can use.


“Do I need to download any software?”

Yes. You will need to download the Beyond The Push Fitness app. It is a free app to you and will be the primary way I will deliver your workouts and track your progress. You can also access your account by logging into your Beyond The Push Fitness account.


“How strict does my diet need to be?”

Unless you are subscribed to the Transform plan, nutrition is not a part of the programming. Ultimately diet will be up to you, though we can talk about small changes you can make that will make a difference. 


“Can I still drink alcohol on your program?”

You will get various answers here from different trainers, but I am in the school of thought that you should decrease, not eliminate, the things you enjoy. I’d recommend cutting the alcohol down to one drink, once a week. Alcohol offers empty calories and can hinder your progress, but so can completely restricting yourself and then giving in and having several drinks a couple times a week. Just be smart about your intake and reduce it if you can. If you can eliminate alcohol then it will help tremendously.


“How do I track my food intake?”

I recommend using an app called MyFitnessPal. Any way you feel comfortable tracking it is sufficient though. The most important thing is that you do track it and that I can access it when needed.

“Does the Transform plan include meal plans?”

No. Only a Registered Dietician can legally prescribe specific meals. Specific meal plans require lab work to see if your body has any kind of vitamin or mineral or other deficiency, etc. I can, however, provide general guidelines, examples or healthy meals and a nutrition program designed specifically to meet your goal(s).

“How do I contact you to ask a question?”

For the Ignite plan: You may email me at any time and I will respond within 48 hours.

For the Evolve plan: If you’re subscribed to the Evolve plan, then you may contact me via email at any time. I will respond within 48 hours. You may also contact me via the messenger feature in the Beyond the Push Fitness App.

For the Transform Plan: You may email me at any time and I will respond within 24 hours. You may also contact me via the messenger feature in the Beyond The Push Fitness app at any time (or via Whatsapp should you prefer to leave a voice message or have a concern requiring a longer response).


“How do I check in with you?”

Based on your plan, we will do weekly, or bi weekly phone or monthly video or phone check-ins. These will be shorter in duration and mostly cover how your program is coming along. You can reach me via the messenger feature in your Beyond The Push Fitness app. 


“Is there a cancellation policy?”

Yes. Written notice should be provided at least 30 days ahead of time. You can request to cancel your account at any time within 30 days of  written notice.  Account Holds: You can request to put your account on hold if you are going to be away for a minimum of two weeks.

“Do you give refunds?”

No. I am committed to you and your success. 100% Customized programs take a lot of time, knowledge and energy to create. Once they are created and delivered to you, a refund will not be possible as the time has already been spent in putting together that program for you. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your online coaching you may cancel, or we can talk about how to better meet your needs. However, payments already made cannot be refunded once any part of your program has been delivered.
